J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan - Spring 2010

April 9, 2010 - May 9, 2010

Adapted by John Caird and Trevor Nunn
Produced and Directed by Stephen Michael Rondel

Tired of seeing the same production of "Pan" where Peter is played by an adult woman, the Darling children fly by the standard mechanical pulley system and Captain Hook is a tall and sinister man? Then follow the second star to the right, and straight on 'till morning to The New Acting Company's Non-Traditional, Re-Invented and Re-Imagined telling of the classic tale!
Our Peter was an actual 12-year-old boy, just as the author originally intended. Our version of flying was a big screen multimedia adventure. To add a final twist, our Captain Hook was a woman. Journey with us to a Never Land where imagination and make believe are child inspired with wild abandon.

"A new production of this J. M. Barrie classic offers something that may seem even more remarkable than a magical, ageless boy who flies: a boy playing a magical, ageless boy who flies."
- Laurel Graeber of The New York Times, Peter Pan 2009
