CHILDREN'S SUMMER CAMP

Two-Week Intensive Theater Camps

In this outrageously fun summer playmaking intensive, students will create an original play with their peers. In just two weeks, young actors will sharpen acting skills, play theater games and develop unique characters as playmakers. Campers will also have a hand in set, costume, lighting, sound and make up design of the show they create.

The focus is on self-expression, community building, problem solving and understanding all aspects of theater production. No experience required! Campers will take daily group outings to local parks, bi-weekly trips to a neighborhood pool and weekly field trips that are relevant to the theater piece they are creating.

Students must make a commitment to the entire two-week session, including the performance on the final day. Each session has a different thematic journey. Older students (age 10 –14) have the option to be a lead character in the show, or one of the directors.
